Reasons behind Chinese apps  banned in India

                     Today we will talk about very sensitive topic that is why Indian Government is banning chinese apps in  India.
        So, lets get start....








    The Govt of India has banned 59 Chinese mobile applications, including top social media platforms such as TikTok, WeChat and Helo , to counter the threat posed by these applications to the country's “sovereignty and security”.

Why need to block apps

    The applications are engaged in activities “prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order.” The ban has been imposed under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act read with relevant provisions of the Information Technology  Rules 2009. The govt also cited complaints about data on Indian users being transferred abroad without authorisation.
These apps have been there for a long time, and there are some privacy and security issues with them including risks of data going out of the country.


Data leaked by chinese apps

       The Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) said it had received complaints from various sources, including several reports about the misuse of some mobile apps for stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users’ data in an unauthorised manner to servers outside India.
    The app like camscanner leaked the data of users in recent and  It was removed from the playstore but dropped back to the playstore at that time but now it is removed....


Income to china from India

    As per research indian market contributes almost 39% in china.
 As per financial overview 
1.Tiktok: 23cr to 25cr.
2.Cam scanner: $2 million.
3.Club factory: 40 million users and 70 million globally. 
4.Shien:10 to 15 million monthly revenue. 
5.After india ban 59 Chinese apps they have lost almot Rs45000 crores.(Report)

Bad effects on indian economy and developement

    following are the bad effects  on Indian economy and developement.
