Tracking does not stop only from turning off location service, follow these steps to stop it completely
Whats up lovely peoples? This is Technoguy. So our new topic is really Important to know for all. Our main moto behind this blog is to give u as much as important knowledge from our blog.
So lets start.
Location tracking is a very common practice nowadays. Google does this work. Also, apps whose functions depend on the location also track the location of the users.
Most people feel that just by turning off location service in their smartphone or any device will be done. However, you might not know that background location information is still shared with Google.
Google usually tracks location based on service and application used by people. Even Google tracks using IP addresses and in such a situation, simply turning off location service from your smartphone will not work.
To prevent Google from tracking your location completely, users will have to turn off web and app activity from their Google account. To do this follow these steps:
1. Go to https://myactivity.google.com/
2. Select Data and Personalization from the left navigation panel.
3.After this, click on manage your activity controls then turn off the activity that you want out of all the activities appearing there.
4.Make sure that you have turned off Web & App Activity and Location History.
5. From here, users can also manage their location and other history details shared with Google. For this, users have to go back to the MyActivity homepage and select the Delete Activity by option.
6. A new option will emerge from here and users will be asked to select one of them the options are -
last hour
last day
all-time
custom range
Select an option that you want and click the Next button. Here users can filter service based details even further and delete them.
